Begin Again: Execute The Plan

Begin Again

Another week down and time for a weight loss update!

This week was a really great week. My stress level was low due to a lighter load at work. The previous week was what I dubbed as “hell week.” This week was the total opposite. So, how did my week go overall?

Food:

I’m going to be 100% honest and say that food has been a coasting session. I’m on autopilot with my food. I eat when I need to eat and stick with the same kinds of foods.

I will say that I was super snackish this week. I wasn’t starving but I was constantly thinking about food at certain times of the day.

I have no clue what that’s all about. I didn’t venture off the plan though. I have goals, remember?

Food, overall, was more of the same. I’ll have to put a little more thought into switching stuff up a little.

Workouts:

Workouts have been killer. I’m really pushing myself harder with every workout.

I’m not increasing my weights on my strength training session. I’m not trying to lift the most weight. I just want to get a great workout in.

I feel as I have been doing very well on that aspect.

Cardio has been solid. I’ve been running. Shocker!

I missed it but I feel it afterwards. I was tired after my last cardio session. My legs felt very wobbly. Maybe I’m a little out of practice.

Weigh In Day:

I had no expectations for the weigh in. I just wanted to see a loss. Preferably a bigger loss than the previous week.

Stepped on the scale and gained. GAINED! Argh!

I’m ok with it. It was a .2 lb gain. It could have been a lot more. I was thankful that it was such a small uptick.

What’s the plan of attack for next week?

Execute the plan and stick to it.

I haven’t swayed from this current plan so far. It works and it’s worked well. People are telling me that the gain is from too much sodium. The gain could be from my exercise.

Both are valid points.

I’m going to evaluate both and adjust if need be.

I expect my journey to have its ups and downs. It’s not a journey without downfalls. I’m just going to keep to the plan and make adjustments as I need to.

That’s all I can do. So far, everything has worked in my favor. Why stop now?
