You Just Need A Healthy Useful Break

It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?

Sometimes you just need a healthy useful break from the world. 


Have you ever felt like you didn’t have much to say? You didn’t have much you wanted to do? That’s how I was feeling.

Instead of writing mindless and uninteresting blog posts, I took a break to clear my head and to refocus.

I know it was the best decision. For me and for you, the reader of this blog.

There were a lot of issues hovering around in my personal life. From getting over an injury to dealing with work and personal relationships. Most of them have been resolved. Some are still an ongoing thing. But that’s just life, right?

Weight loss took a backseat. Stress definitely doesn’t help when you’re trying to lose the pounds. Sometimes, it adds on the pounds.

I haven’t given up on my weight loss goals and I know you haven’t either.

I love blogging but I also don’t want to bring you fluff when it comes to content.

This blog started out as a mixed bag of content. I want to narrow that focus down to just focus on weight loss. Anything around the subject of weight loss. That’s what I’m doing now and that’s what you’re working on as well.

You are trying to lose weight and live a better life. I have the information and I’m also on this journey with you. So, I want you to keep me accountable and I will keep you accountable as well. We’re on the same path.

I spent the last month and a half cleaning up the messiness of this thing we call life. Life was foggy for awhile with no clear direction. I got my head clear and in the right space. Now, it’s time to get back to work.

My weight loss journey is in motion. Today, I start marathon training for Chicago Marathon in October. I’m running for Team Healthy Kids.

I hope you will join me on this journey as a chronicle my ups and down. My highs and lows.

I’m back and it’s for good this time.
